Batchelor Heights is situated above North Kamloops and Westsyde As the only higher altitude neighbourhood on the north side of the city, the northernmost dwellings enjoy amazing city and river views. Batchelor is divided into two main subdivisions, Lower Batchelor and Upper Batchelor. This neighbourhood is also rapidly expanding, with many new homes in the Upper Batchelor subdivision. Lower Batchelor houses older homes. The neighbourhood is comprised mostly of single-family dwellings, with a few townhouse complexes in the newer areas. You have all of the benefits of city living while still being able to enjoy a peaceful, upscale neighbourhood. Backing onto the Lac du Bois Grasslands Provincial Park, it is a popular area for fishing, hiking, dirt biking and snowmobiling. There is also a small community park in Upper Batchelor. This is a great area for first-time home buyers.
