The Kamloops International Airport is also located at the very west end of Brocklehurst, accessible via Tranquille Road or off Highway 5 via Ord Road.
The rural neighbourhood of Tranquille (further West of Brocklehurst past the airport) offers wonderful day hikes and exploring into the Lac Du Bois Grasslands. This is where the Thompson River empties into Kamloops Lake. Brocklehurst is an extremely desirable area for first-time home buyers or those looking for investment property.
