Clinton is a small village with a population of 600, and is located 39 km north of the Trans Canada Highway #1 and Cariboo Highway #97 junction. It is midway between Prince George and Vancouver in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region.
The history of Clinton dates back to the days of the gold rush, and is still a rustic town that features many working ranches, and moves at its own pace. It is a perfect home for people who want to enjoy the wide open space, and have their lives slowed down a notch.
That doesn’t mean that Clinton offers little in the way of things to do. Clinton is in close proximity to several provincial parks including, Big Bar Lake, Chasm Provincial Park, and Marble Range Provincial Park, where you can enjoy hiking and geological exploration, lakeside fishing and camping, trail and wilderness mountain biking, and novice-to-advanced cross country skiing in winter.
Clinton is just small enough to make it a perfect place if you want a great home for an outstanding price, in a town where life is what you make of it.
