Monte Lake is a community located roughly 30 minutes southeast of Kamloops, BC. Residents are attracted to the small neighborhood for its proximity to Monte Lake, after which the community was named after. The area is a beautiful, wooded oasis that provides homeowners with the perfect location to enjoy peace and privacy. Many of the homes for sale in Monte Lake are cozy, cottage-style properties, as a handful are used as secondary residences or vacation homes. Monte Lake provides a number of outdoor recreational activities for those living in the area from fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and more. The area is also home to a small provincial park that offers camping accommodations for visitors. Heading back into Kamloops is not a problem as the ½ hour trip is quickly accomplished via the Okanagan Highway 97. Once they arrive at their destination, residents of Monte Lake can take advantage of the many shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and more offered in Kamloops.
Elementary School:
Typically, students residing in the Monte Creek community will attend either Dallas Elementary School or Robert L. Clemitson Elementary School, both of which fall roundly 25 minutes from Monte Lake.
High Schools:
Slightly further down the Trans Canada Highway is Sa-Hali Secondary School which provides high school education for students of Monte Lake.
